Rating the MU stars after the trophy lift: Amad leads the way, one player hits rock bottom

MU closed their friendly against Leeds with a penalty shootout victory to lift the Sport Boyle Cup, with Amad Diallo and Bryan Mbeumo emerging as the biggest highlights. However, not all Red Devils players delivered a performance as expected.

Senne Lammens - 7 points

Had some good ball-handling moments with his feet and generally played solidly. Lammens could do little about Leeds' equalizer.

The best player on MU's side. Amad played with great confidence, constantly seeking one-on-one situations and frequently creating breakthroughs with his dribbling ability.

His proactive movement both on and off the ball made Amad a constant threat to Leeds' defense.

Was energetic and did well in some off-the-ball duties. However, his final-third actions still lacked sharpness.

Joshua Zirkzee - 7.5 points

Took his chance well to score MU's opening goal. Zirkzee also had a few other shots that troubled the Leeds goalkeeper and showed good chemistry with Mbeumo.

Bryan Mbeumo - 8.5 points

A very positive performance. Mbeumo assisted Zirkzee's goal and also unleashed a powerful strike that hit the crossbar.

Dermot Mee - 7.5 points

Made a very good save in the second half and showed assertiveness in controlling his box. The biggest highlight was successfully saving a penalty.

Dan Armer - 7.5 points

The young defender played more composed than expected and handled situations against Dominic Calvert-Lewin quite well. He showed no signs of intimidation despite being given a first-team opportunity.

Luke Shaw - 7 points

Helped MU move the ball forward effectively and maintained solidity on his flank.

Noussair Mazraoui - 6.5 points

Made a few forward runs to support the attack but had limited impact. Overall, he fulfilled his defensive duties.
